LKQ Corp. is exploring a potential sale of its Specialty segment. The Specialty segment is comprised of NTP-Stag, SeaWide Distribution, Keystone Automotive Operations Inc. and the Earl Owen Company, an LKQ source confirmed. LKQ President and CEO Justin Jude said the Specialty segment is a strong business supported by an exceptional team.
Dealers and suppliers described the Keller Marine & RV team as amazing, supportive and a breath of fresh air when they met this week. Show attendees agreed that working with the distributor is a partnership rather than a traditional business arrangement.
Campers Inn closed on the purchase of assets and land related to 13 former Lazydays stores. Lazydays said in an SEC filing that Campers Inn paid approximately $231.6 million for the combined assets and land related to the stores.
A group of industry experts recently discussed Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) use in the RV industry. Ron Wheeler led the panel. Wheeler said the development of new technology in the RV industry is nothing new. He said dealers’ feelings about AI are probably similar to what they were feeling at the onset of the internet and online listings.
RV dealers can generate donations to the charities of their choice by paying for phone, internet, and other business necessities through PIE. As of October 2025, PIE said Marquart RV’s donations topped $50,000, and the dealer group’s annual savings are even higher. Beaver Coach Sales of Oregon owner Ty Kelly said his store also used the program to save money and give back.
Ron Shepherd from Camperland of Oklahoma received RVDA’s highest honor Wednesday during the association’s annual meeting in Las Vegas. Shepherd was named the James B. Summers Award winner. RVDA said the award recognizes individuals who have made a consistent and outstanding contribution to the association and its members. The award is named in honor of the association’s longtime executive vice president. James B. Summers.
Author Ryan Estis presented an inspiring keynote speech Tuesday at the RVDA Convention/Expo. His speech touted lessons learned from some unusual sources to encourage RVDA members to move beyond the transaction and find new ways to interact with customers.
RV dealers face training challenges. Brown & Brown said it has conquered those challenges using artificial intelligence (AI). The company officially introduced its AI training program, called Sim 365, during the company’s weekend F&I school in Las Vegas.
Keller Marine & RV will expand across the Gulf Coast with the opening of a new warehouse in Louisiana in early 2026. President Mike Keller said the 20,000-square-foot facility will open for business in the first half of January. The warehouse will serve western Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and eastern Texas.
Rev Group and Terex Corp. entered into a definitive merger agreement to merge in a stock-and-cash transaction. Terex Corp. is a global industrial equipment manufacturer. Terex CEO Simon Meester told investors on a conference call that the RV business was not a top priority as the companies are combined. A Rev Group spokesperson said leaders were unavailable to comment Thursday on the RV business’ future beyond the investor conference call.
Less than two weeks remain for RV dealers who have not registered for the RVDA Convention/Expo to make plans to be in Las Vegas.
In a shocking twist, Coachmen might have to pull the plug on its all-electric RVEX after producing a single model of the Type B motorhome. Coachmen General Manager Zach Eppers said the company was as surprised as anyone when General Motors announced Tuesday that it will no longer produce the BrightDrop 600 chassis that provided RVEX’s base.
