Biography
Kevin Wenglikowski started at Stromberg Carlson Products, Inc. in 2004 as plant manager, leading five people.
“I came aboard like, ‘oh, this is easy, I only have five people to manage,’” Wenglikowski said. His opinion quickly changed and has done so even more since Stromberg hired an additional 20 full-time, and several temporary, workers. Though his job is not easy, Wenglikowski said he is most proud of Stromberg’s growth, and his role in it.
Out of community college, Wenglikowski started as a welder at Midland, Michigan’s Snow Machines Inc., working his way up to a position in purchasing. For the next 13 years, he traveled the world building machines that make snow for ski areas. Of the several countries Wenglikowski visited during this job, including Australia, Japan and several in Europe, he said New Zealand is his favorite.
After working at Snow Machines, then building industrial vacuum pumps for three years, Wenglikowski started at Stromberg. He was promoted to operations manager at the start of 2021 ands now oversees shipping, domestic purchasing and building maintenance.
