The 2020 RV Supplier Show has been rescheduled to September 2021, despite the success of the 2019 show. The decision comes after the cancellation of the 2020 Elkhart Open House/Product Expo.
“When we learned that three of the major manufactures mutually decided to move the 2020 Elkhart Dealer Show until September 2021, due to Covid-19 pandemic, it will be necessary to move the Hall of Fame’s RV Supplier Show to coincide with the future Elkhart RV Open House,” said RV/MH Hall of Fame President Darryl Searer.
“As most suppliers know, the Hall of Fame’s RV Supplier Show has been sold out on inside booths since early February, and there are only a few outside booths available,” Searer added. “As a participant in our 2020 supplier show, these supplier’s registration and payment will be carried forward to next year, ensuring them that their booth space is locked in. As of July 27 more than 80 percent have opted to roll the reservations over to the 2021 show, and now we are opening registration for the 2021 show, and any available spaces will be open for sale.”
RV dealers who attend RV Open House receive free admission to the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum, which takes them past the front door of Ingram Hall and the supplier exhibits.
Earlier this month, the RV/MH Hall of Fame executive committee also voted to postpone the Annual RV/MH Hall of Fame Induction Dinner due to health concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The ceremony was originally scheduled for August 3rd but will now take place Thursday, December 3, 2020.
“As we near the original date of the dinner, I hope everyone who planned to attend the ceremony is aware of the postponement, but in case anyone missed the notice we wanted to restate it. It would be a shame if someone traveled to Elkhart for the event only to find that the Northern Indiana Event Center was dark that evening,” Searer said. “We look forward to seeing everyone on December 3 to celebrate the Class of 2020.”
