Monthly Wholesale RV Unit Shipments to Dealerships

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) compiles and tracks how many new RV units each RV manufacturer makes and ships to RV dealers on a monthly basis. The wholesale shipment report breaks down RV vehicles by unit category in aggregate to avoid any RV manufacturer’s specific production numbers being released.

RVIA’s February 2026 survey of manufacturers found that wholesale RV shipments totaled 29,206 RVs, a 11.1% decline from the 32,871 RVs shipped in February 2025. For the year, shipments are down10.9% with 53,889 RVs shipped through the first two months compared to 60,500 last year.

The report indicated that Type C motorhomes are still the most popular with consumers with 2,351 of the 3,938 total motorhomes shipped in February being Type Cs

Towable RVs ended the month down 14.8% from last February with 25,268 shipments. Travel trailers were down 14.9%, fifth wheels are down 15 %, folding campers were down 18.1% and truck campers were down 13.2%.

 Motorhomes finished the month up 22% compared to the same month last year with 3,938 RVs shipped.

There were 668 Type A motorhomes shipped, a decrease of 0.4%. Type B shipments totaled 919 in February, up 28.4% from the same month last year.

Type C motorhomes jumped 27.6% over last year. 

Park Model RVs finished February up 20.1% compared to the same month last year, with 401 wholesale shipments.

January 2026 RV Shipment Reports

RVIA’s January 2026 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments were sharply below January 2025 levels. However, shipments were greater than January 2024 and January 2023 results.

RVIA reported that January 2026 wholesale RV shipments totaled 24,683 RVs, a -10.7 decline from the 27,629 RVs shipped in January 2025.

The January 2026 level is 8.8% above January 2024 wholesale RV shipments and 20.9% above January 2023 shipments.

January 2026 towable RV shipments were down -13.2% from January 2025.

Motorhome shipments were up 12.7% compared with January 2024. Type C motorhome shipments accounted for 1,940 of the 3,069 motorized RV shipments. RVIA reported 598 Type B shipments and 531 Type A shipments.
