RVDA Expo Workshop to Focus on Safety and Talent

RV dealers will learn the importance of training and interacting with managers and employees during an RVDA Convention/Expo seminar.

Joe Souza, KPA’s director of EHS Operations-West, will conduct “Creating a Safety Culture—Your New Competitive Advantage,” slated for at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 14 as part of the operations education track. In addition to safety measures, the workshop will emphasize retaining talented workers.

According to studies, dealerships’ investments in preserving a safe work environment result in a decrease in injuries, violations, turnover rates and absenteeism.

Among the session’s learning objectives are:

  • How to navigate complacency, compliance and culture
  • Why and how to build a culture of safety
  • How to measure safety performance

RVDA, RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center sponsor the expo, which is slated for Nov. 11-15 at Paris Las Vegas.
