Lock maker DuraSafe is expanding its lock products to reach the overlanding and trailer market.
DuraSafe owner and President Cathy Frantz Durand said overlanders and RVers can keep their valuable equipment safe with DuraSafe’s hitch, trailer, spare tire, bike, cooler, fuel/water container and propane tank locks.
Frantz Durand said DuraSafe is launching multiple new products specifically for RV and overlanding consumers. She said the company is excited to bring reliable solutions to the RV community.
DuraSafe has locks for two articulating hitches, the Lock ‘n Roll and the Max Coupler. Each requires consumers to remove the factory pin from the latch plates and replace the pin with DuraSafe’s locks. Each lock can be keyed alike to other DuraSafe locks.
In addition, DuraSafe will release a retrofit kit for the RotopaX LOX Mount. The kit replaces the factory LOX lock with DuraSafe’s lock core. The DuraSafe lock is made with marine-grade stainless steel and aluminum materials. The retrofit kit enables consumers to key alike the RotopaX LOX lock with other DuraSafe locks.
Frantz Durand said many of DuraSafe’s existing products also could be of value to RV consumers.
“No one wants to spend their trip worrying if their gear will still be there when they get back to camp,” Frantz Durand said. “With our locks, overlanders can focus on the adventure, not the worry.”
DuraSafe said its One-Key Technology enables consumers to operate multiple locks with a single key. The company said overlanders can simplify their setup without compromising security.
