Consumers familiar with recent Chinook RV models might have a hard time finding the entry door on the manufacturer’s new Concourse.
The Concourse Type B motorhome, which is on display at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, features a side-entry door. Chinook National Sales Manager Seth Buchheit said side-entry doors have not been seen on Chinook RVs since production ended on the Glacier.
“There are a lot of people that want a side entry because it is more of a traditional motorhome,” Buchheit said. “That is why we came up with this. The build process is the same as any other Chinook RV, with aluminum sidewalls and roof. A lot of side-entry doors are fiberglass, but this is a metal door.”
Chinook RV said the Concourse blends rugged capability with premium design. The RV is built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD chassis.

The Concourse offers seven different exterior paint schemes, including three standard options and four premium options. The premium options will grab attention with a choice between orange, burgundy, morning haze and mudbath. Four interior color options—walnut chiffon, nizza, cortana beige and madera cream—are available.
The floorplan includes a full rear bath. A pocket door separates the bath from the living/sleeping area.
Power-inclining twin-sized beds are mid-coach. In an inclined position, the beds provide views of the swing-arm television, mounted behind the front passenger seat. A floor cabinet under the TV is used as a workstation when needed.
The kitchen sits behind the front driver’s seat and includes a 6.2-cubic-foot refrigerator, a sink, a microwave and an induction cooktop. Solid-surface countertops are in the kitchen and bathroom.
A Truma Aventa 13,500-BTU air conditioner works with the Timberline 1 gas-fired hydronic heat and hot water system to keep the motorhome comfortable. The Concourse features a standard 600-watt solar panel, a Victron solar charger, a 3,000-watt inverter and a Cerbo Touch Screen monitor. An Expion360 900-amp-hour Lithium Battery system is standard.
Dealers might have seen the Concourse last fall during the Elkhart Extravaganza. The SuperShow is the general public’s first chance to see the motorhome. Buchheit said the Concourse is already garnering attention this week as a “must-see” RV.
In addition to the Concourse unveiling, Chinook’s full 2026 model lineup is on display. Two RVs are available to test drive.
