Meteorologists’ forecasts of extreme weather in Charlotte, North Carolina, last weekend prompted the North Carolina RV Dealers Association (NCRVDA) to postpone a consumer show originally scheduled for Jan. 23-25.

The decision was made last week. A social media announcement Jan. 21 informed the public that the 2026 Progressive NCRVDA Charlotte RV Show was postponed to Jan. 30-Feb. 1.

Travis Creech, co-owner of Rex & Sons RV and a former NCRVDA chairman, helps organize the association’s consumer shows. He said the decision to postpone the show came down to the forecast and safety concerns.

“The show has been postponed due to the potential for severe winter weather in the Charlotte area,” Creech said. “With forecasts calling for snow, sleet and icy conditions, the NCRVDA board members and participating dealers agreed that moving the show to the following weekend was the best decision to ensure the safety of attendees, exhibitors and staff.”

The show at the Park Expo and Conference Center will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 30-31, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 1.

Creech said the NCRVDA looks forward to welcoming consumers to the rescheduled show.
