Leisure Travel Vans rolled out a new 2021 Wonder Rear Lounge model recently, and this week drew back the curtain on how the new RV line is made.

All of the new Wonder models are built on the Ford Transit chassis, an innovative addition to the OEM world this past year. To highlight the importance of that chassis to the Wonder launch, Leisure Travel Vans shared a virtual tour this week of the Ford Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Missouri.

“The Ford Transit Cutaway that our Wonder models – including the newly launched 2021 Wonder Rear Lounge – are built on is created with the kinds of leading-edge technology and exacting standards that ensure the best product, every time,” the company announced with the video.

With more than 4.7 million square feet production space, the Ford plant in Kansas City produces more units than any other car manufacturing plant in the US, according to Leisure Travel Vans. The company said it wants to boost consumer confidence by seeing what goes on inside the plant.

The new video highlights Ford’s state-of-the-art robotics equipment and industry-leading safety standards, Leisure Travel Vans said.
