Jim Cochran, director of compliance for Hendrick Automotive Group, has joined the Association of Dealership Compliance Officers (Adco) Board of Directors.
Cochran previously served on the Adco advisory board for two years.
Cochran joined Hendrick in 2012 and was promoted to compliance director in 2018. Hendrick Automotive has 97 dealerships in 13 states, representing 27 manufacturers and about 11,000 employees.
Executive Director Linda Robertson said, “We are delighted to welcome Jim to the board of directors. He brings so much creativity, experience, knowledge and energy to projects that fall within his scope of expertise.”
Cochran built menus at Hendrick specifically tailored for each dealership in the dealer group before he became the compliance director.
“Jim attended Adco’s first certification seminar for industry compliance officers in March 2019,” Robertson said, “and has continued to be a respected member of the industry compliance community. We look forward to working closely with Jim in his new capacity on the Adco board of directors.”
