The Association of Dealer Compliance Officers (ADCO) will hold a virtual dealership compliance certification seminar May 18-20, 2022.
Training will cover federal regulations that impact dealerships and instruction in creating and managing a compliance management system (CMS). According to ADCO, dealers will receive step-by-step guidance with tools that can be put to work immediately.
The seminar is open to automotive compliance professionals. Speakers from nine companies will hold five sessions a day covering a variety of topics including:
- Seven elements of an effective compliance management program
- Creating, executing and managing a compliance management system (CMS)
- Responsibilities of a dealership compliance officer
- Parts and service OSHA model
- Relevant federal regulations from showroom to shop
- Employment and labor relations
- Leadership assessment
Participants can choose to obtain their dealer compliance officer professional (DCOP) certification by taking an exam at the end of the training. Continuing education credits are available.
The seminar will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 18; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 and 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 20. Time is scheduled in the program each day for lunch and breaks.
The cost for ADCO members with a valid ADCO community account is $550. The cost without a membership is $850.
