AIM Wholesale, a regional distributor based in Phoenix, has been bought.

The acquisition comes the week after AIM Wholesale conducted its 21st annual distributor show.

The company was bought by Meyer Distributing.

Dealers who have placed orders yet to be filled will have their orders filled by Meyer. Orders to be filled include all orders placed at the AIM Wholesale show last week.

Suppliers were told that all inventory received and posted by AIM and sold to Meyer in the acquisition will be paid directly to the vendor by AIM.

“All inventory received by AIM that is in the building but has not been posted to AIM’s inventory will be paid directly by Meyer to the vendor,” the company said. “All open, unshipped purchase orders placed by AIM will need to be audited by Meyer for accuracy and to have shipping addresses updated to a respective Meyer warehouse location. Purchasing agents will be reaching out to each vendor to discuss an audit of open orders placed by AIM and any other relevant concerns.”
