Airstream’s Interstate 24X will rely on the Timberline heating system to keep consumers warm, as the manufacturer chose to install Timberline as standard equipment.

The Timberline system delivers continuous hot water and quiet heat provided by a system using diesel fuel from the onboard vehicle fuel tank.

“We are excited to be a part of this Airstream Interstate 24X model,” Elwell Corp. President Ken Elwell said. “The Timberline system is designed for use all over the country and especially for high altitudes and harsh climates. No matter where your travels take you the Timberline system will provide great comfort and plenty of hot water.”

Timberline’s system features a 120-volt supplemental heating element for use when the RV is plugged into shore power. The system’s design is modular to provide versatility in designing floorplans. Timberline features a color touch screen panel. The panel is branded specifically for the 24X.
