Airstream has collaborated with numerous brands in recent years on limited-edition RV models.
The company made motorhomes with Tommy Bahama interior decor and REI Co-op decor. Limited-edition RVs include a Pottery Barn Special Edition travel trailer and a Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Limited Edition travel trailer. Airstream built a concept travel trailer with Studio F.A. Porche, the design firm known for creating the Porsche Design brand.
Airstream’s latest collaboration, unveiled today, draws inspiration from the American Frontier.

Airstream partnered with Stetson and the Four Sixes Ranch (6666) on the new Airstream Stetson + 6666 Special Edition travel trailer. The RV required input from Airstream’s design and engineering teams and Western-style and heritage experts from Stetson and the Four Sixes Ranch.
Bob Wheeler, Airstream’s president and CEO, said, “This collaboration brings together three iconic American brands, merging their deep-rooted Western history with our spirit of outdoor adventure. Our hope is to inspire adventurers to hitch up and hit the open road.”
The 27-foot travel trailer includes a queen-sized bed or two twin-sized beds. The living room includes a convertible dinette. The RV features an optional rear hatch with a sliding screen.
The special-edition travel trailer has a GVWR of 7,600 pounds. The RV is powered by 2,400-watt-hours of lithium batteries, a 2,000-watt inverter and 300 watts of solar panels.
The materials, flooring and soft goods are inspired by Western wear and a cowboy heritage. The color palette includes rustic browns, warm clay tones, oxblood reds and charcoal greys. The dinette table features black stained oak. The bathroom includes an oil-rubbed bronze sink and light sconces. Leather upholstery covers the furniture.
On the exterior, Western-inspired features include weathered metal accents and a Stetson hat screen door. The custom-designed power awning is red-striped, embroidered with a classic Southwest-inspired pattern and embossed with the Stetson and 6666 logos. The front solar guards are embossed with a cowboy artwork wrap.
Four Sixes Ranch co-owner Taylor Sheridan said, “As we look to the future and expand the ways that Four Sixes leans into culture, entertainment, cuisine and more, partnering with Airstream and Stetson represents the best of the past and the promise of the future.”
Stetson CEO Robert Dundon said the collaboration connects the company’s craftsmanship with how people live, travel and create their own stories.
The Airstream Stetson + 6666 Special Edition Travel Trailer is the first model in Airstream’s new Collaboration Series. The manufacturer previewed the series at its 2024 dealer meeting. Airstream acquired a custom designer called Creative Mobile Interiors (CMI) in 2024. Chief Operating Officer Bryan Melton said CMI’s work to customize interiors after they roll off the manufacturing line would enable Airstream to do small or limited-edition runs without disrupting typical operations.
Airstream said the Collaboration Series would involve partnerships with various global brands to create new RV designs, custom interiors and high-end appliances.
“The Stetson + 6666 Special Edition travel trailer represents Airstream challenging existing standards with innovative, fresh ideas,” Wheeler said. “We could not be more excited to continue to think outside our traditional mindset and introduce our brand to new audiences through each future collaboration.”
