Airstream unveiled 2026 model year updates at its recent dealer meeting in Kentucky.
Airstream said two standout features include an improved backup camera and an 80-amp converter upgrade for greater charging capabilities.
The upgraded camera is placed below the rear awning to offer protection from overhead brush. The camera is on the Bambi and Caravel models, among others.
The 80-amp converter will be standard in all RVs with dual air conditioners.
A bathroom window in all 25FB and 27FB floorplans provides additional light into the Globetrotter, International, Flying Cloud and Trade Wind models. A roller shade offers privacy.
Airstream said new air conditioning vents on all ducted units will increase air flow. The system improves the shut-off function and directional airflow options. Previous model year trailers can be upgraded to the package.
Basecamp’s X Package—including all-terrain tires, stylized aluminum wheels, a 3-inch lift kit and a raised hitch hack foot pad—is now standard on all 16X and 20X trailers.
All Globetrotter and Classic floorplans will feature a new security camera built into the main door light fixture that transmits the image to a wireless monitor. The Classic’s 28RB and 30RB floorplans trailer include a redesigned sofa that offers a lay-flat bed configuration.
The Trade Wind 23FB floorplan increased its gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) from 6,300 pounds to 6,500 pounds to accommodate additional gear.
Airstream previously unveiled the Frank Lloyd Wright Limited Edition, a 28-foot trailer that the company said “blends Wright’s organic architecture with Airstream’s iconic form.”
