Aliner is implementing sustainable manufacturing solutions to improve product quality.

The company began using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology to automate processes once done by hand. Equipped with several safety features, Aliner said its multiple CNC machines are much safer than manually operated machines.

According to Aliner, CNC technology allows the company to reduce material waste and increases process efficiency and precision.

The company is now handling their roofing materials and boxes with machine-aided technology. Using vacuum lifts reduces work-related injuries and increases productivity and workflow efficiency, Aliner said.

In addition, the company is making changes to the way it trains employees to ensure operations modifications stick. The company is training employees with short, focused, on-the-job learning segments to save time and increase productivity.
