Aqua Finance appointed veteran financial executive Kurt Grossheim as the company’s CEO.

Aqua Finance is an RV lender based in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Grossheim succeeds Rich Morrin, who will remain with Aqua Finance as an advisor. Morrin was appointed CEO in 2019.

Grossheim most recently was president and CEO of fintech firm Global Holdings. Before that role, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Synchrony, a consumer and business financing company.

“Kurt is a proven executive who has led high performing teams at several large financing companies, and we are confident he is the right leader for Aqua’s next phase of growth and development,” said Ephraim Rudman, Apollo Global Management Partner and an Aqua Finance board member. “We also want to thank Rich for his many contributions to the company, overseeing significant loan origination growth and leading Aqua through the Covid pandemic during his CEO tenure.”

Grossheim said he looked forward to working with Aqua Finance’s board, management and staff.

“Aqua has a long history of providing dependable and flexible financing solutions to consumers across the home improvement and recreational ecosystem,” Grossheim said, “and I am excited to join at such a pivotal time for the company.”

Morrin thanked the entire Aqua Finance team for their work during his three years as CEO.

“The future is bright for Aqua,” Morrin said, “and I am thankful to have been a part of it.”

Additionally, Aqua Finance independent board director Dave Fasoli was appointed non-executive board chairman. Fasoli, who was appointed to Aqua’s board in July 2022, retired as CEO of CareCredit, a Synchrony business, in 2019 after a nearly 40-year career.

“We are also pleased for Dave to take on a greater role as non-executive chairman, in which he will be focused on enhancing Aqua’s commercial excellence,” Rudman said, “and we expect the board and management team to benefit from his tremendous and long-tenured career in the industry.”
