Armis RV Guardian, an American-made trailer tire guard, will include Trailer SumoSprings as standard in their all-steel RV protector.

According to Armis RV Guardian, the company observed Trailer SumoSprings’ performance and incorporated the suspension upgrade into their product.

“Our goal is to better protect your adventures and keep you safe on the road,” Armis President Derek Grant said. “I have seen too many families’ hard-earned time-off devastated by tire blowouts that rip through their RV. Trailer SumoSprings enhance the protection and safety Armis RV Guardian delivers.”

Aramis RV Guardian systems are made at the company’s Seguin, Texas, factory. The system is designed to protect RVs from tire blowouts. The patent-pending design bolts directly to a trailer axle with existing axle spring hardware and does not void warranties, the company said.

Armis RV has created a unique product that protects RVers against tire blowouts – one of the most common issues campers face.

Trailer SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement that reduces the G-force affecting the towable by 68%, Armis RV Guardian said. Built by SuperSprings International, Trailer SumoSprings are fabricated from micro-cellular polyurethane. Trailer SumoSprings remove sway, hop and body roll while increasing overall driver control and comfort, Armis RV Guardian said. The addition reduces wear and tear on a trailer’s interior components and limits early wear and tear that can proceed tire failures, the company said.

The suspension upgrade is fitted to a trailer by mounting above or below the trailer leaf spring assemblies.

“Our commitment to making the journey better is at the root of all we do at SuperSprings International,” SSI President Adam Weisner said. “Armis RV has created a unique product that protects RVers against tire blowouts – one of the most common issues campers face. My family and I have experienced it personally in our trailer, so this was an easy partnership to get behind.”
