Kampgrounds of America (KOA) will host its next Buyer’s Workshop in-person at the San Antonio/Alamo KOA Holiday in San Antonio, Texas.
Scheduled for April 10-11, the event is among multiple workshops hosted each year throughout the U.S. to provide potential new campground owners with guidance and information. In October last year, KOA took its Buyer’s Workshop virtual and hosted more than 70 attendees.
“While the Virtual KOA Buyer’s Workshop was a resounding success, we know there is nothing like being there in person,” KOA Director of Franchise Development Larry Brownfield said. “We are all looking forward to personally meeting and interacting with all of our attendees, and ensuring we provide them all of the knowledge and experience our 59-year-old company has to offer as they begin their journey to campground ownership.”
Workshop attendees can learn the details of campground ownership, management, insurance and finance from KOA experts during the event, as well as from leading KOA partners Independence Bank and Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance.
Brownfield said camping is the outdoor industry’s “absolute star,” with millions of new North American campers purchasing RVs and flocking to campgrounds.
“We saw record months last summer and fall despite the pandemic,” Brownfield said. “KOA camping was the perfect answer for millions of North Americans eager to get back outside and enjoy nature in a safe, secure environment.”
