Association Implements AI Services

Artificial Intelligence (AI) found its place at Kampgrounds of America (KOA). The association integrated an AI-powered chatbot on its website.

The decision to add the chatbot was made after the 2023 June KOA Monthly Report revealed 32% of campers already use AI for trip planning and 22% plan to use it in the future.

The chatbot is loaded with camping content, location information and data.

We are committed to being at the forefront of this journey, ensuring that technology acts as a bridge, not a barrier, to the natural world.”

The chatbot will facilitate real-time conversations and instant responses, streamlining consumers’ processes.

The AI is programmed with KOA blogs, FAQs, recipes and campground details to provide responses. As the tool learns about the consumer, it can tailor the conversation to the customer’s specific needs. It is also available 24/7.

The system adheres to KOA’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to guard consumer data. Conversations will be automated with an abuse detection system to protect the system from data manipulation.

KOA said as the world evolves technologically, so does KOA.
