Brown & Brown, Inc. acquired substantially all assets of Corporate Insurance Advisors, according to J. Scott Penny, chief acquisitions officer of Brown & Brown, Inc., and Mark R. Schwartz, the principal of Corporate Insurance Advisors, L.L.C.
Corporate Insurance Advisors, founded in 2005 by Schwartz, is a full-service retail insurance agency serving businesses and individuals throughout Florida. The Corporate Insurance Advisors team will operate from Brown & Brown’s retail office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, under the leadership of Mike Gorham.
Mike Keeby, a regional president in Brown & Brown’s Retail segment who oversees offices in Florida and the Southeast, complemented Schwartz and his team’s experience, work ethic and business relationships in the “competitive South Florida marketplace.”

Schwartz said he founded Corporate Insurance Advisors to offer comprehensive risk management solutions for businesses.
