Manufacturer Winnebago Industries said it is bringing back the popular Camp Winnebago event in 2028.

After hosting Camp Winnebago, the manufacturer’s annual owner rally, for over 50 years, 2025 was the first time Winnebago did not hold the annual dealer appreciation event.

The company said the event will return to Forest City, Iowa the same year Winnebago celebrates its 70th anniversary.

“Based on the considerable feedback we’ve gathered about the timing and weather of past events, we will also be shifting Camp Winnebago to either Spring or Fall to create a more convenient and enjoyable experience for attendees,” Winnebago said.  “Final scheduling will be officially announced by the end of 2026.”

The company said Camp Winnebago has always been about bringing owners together for meaningful connections and shared experiences.

“We are committed to making this iconic event bigger and better than ever in 2028,” Winnebago said. “Our vision for the 2028 Camp Winnebago 70th Anniversary Event is to expand opportunities for engagement and create an experience that honors our storied heritage while introducing exciting new ways to celebrate the Winnebago lifestyle and embrace our bright future together for the next 70 years.”

Between now and 2028, the company said it will continue to listen, learn and incorporate feedback from its owner community.

“You will also see us supporting more community events along the way in 2026 and 2027,” Winnebago said, “as we continue to connect and gain insights from our diverse owner community.”
