Paul Cunningham spent 45 years in the RV industry, rising to become the general manager at Campers Inn of Louisville. On Monday, the company said Cunningham will leave his role as general manager.

Cunningham will transition to a new role with the company, Campers Inn said. The dealership group will launch a search for a new GM at its Louisville, Kentucky, store.

Campers Inn said Cunningham is synonymous with excellence in the RV industry. He is a former co-owner of Derby City RV and a business partner at Tom Stinnet RV.

“Throughout my 45-year career, I have been privileged to work with some incredible people,” Cunningham said. “Together, we have weathered storms and celebrated many victories. It’s been a privilege to work with so many amazing customers and employees.”

During his career, Cunningham and his businesses received numerous awards, including recognition as a top dealer, Newmar Gold Awards, sales certificates and multiple manufacturer awards.

“The departure of such a venerable leader like Paul opens up a coveted role that is so much more than a mere job,” Campers Inn said. “Campers Inn RV of Louisville is strategically situated in the bustling Louisville market, serving as a Keystone location for the Midwest. It is a nexus for RV aficionados across Kentucky and Indiana, giving it unparalleled regional influence.”

The Louisville store has a 100,000-square-foot facility and offers brands including Entegra, Grand Design, Keystone RV, Newmar and Rockwood. Campers Inn said the store has the largest service facility in the market and has consistently led RV sales in the area for decades.

“This is not just a place to work,” the company said, “it is a place to make history.”
