Camping World Holdings, Inc. Director Stephen Adams will be retiring from the Camping World Board of Directors, effective Sept. 30, 2022, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing.

In connection with Adams’ resignation, the board will reduce its size to seven directors.

Adams was the CWGS board chairman since Feb. 2011 and the board chairman of Camping World, Inc. since April 1997. He has served as the board chairman of Good Sam Enterprises, LLC since December 1988.

Adams has been a major contributor to and influence of the RV industry, Camping World said in the filing. He has contributed to the growth and awareness of the Good Sam and Camping World brands over several decades, the company said.

In recognition of Adams’ contributions and commitment to the industry and his long-standing counsel and dedication to the company, the board gave Adams the director emeritus honorary title.
