Camping World Holdings, Inc. appointed several key hires to its field operations leadership team. The new hires, all with at least a decade of RV industry experience, will hold operations, market manager and regional director positions.

Marcus Lemonis, Camping World Chairman and CEO, said: “As we continue to capitalize on today’s dealership acquisition landscape, it is equally important that we strengthen our field leadership bench by aggressively attracting the industry’s best talent.”

Former Kunes RV Chief Operating Officer Tom Hamil was hired as a senior vice president at Camping World. Hamil will lead the company’s Midwest Region operations, which includes Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. Hamil has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive and RV industries. He helped grow Kunes RV from one dealership to 13 stores during his tenure from 2019-2023.

Former Blue Dog RV executive Mark Bodnar will be a market manager for Pennsylvania operations. Bodnar worked at Blue Dog and its successor, Blue Compass RV, from 2019-2023. Among his 20 years of experience are stints with Highland Ridge RV and Starcraft RV.

Another former Blue Dog RV executive, Kalen Snelson, was hired as a market manager for Idaho and Washington operations. He worked at Blue Dog/Blue Compass from 2018-2023 and has more than a decade of RV industry experience.

Finally, former Campers Inn RV Regional Parts and Service Director David Corder will be Camping World’s regional service director in the Southeast. Corder will help Camping World with its dealership integration process. He served with Campers Inn from 2018-2023 and had more than 15 years of automotive and RV experience.

“These recent strategic additions to our team bring regional expertise and national leadership skills,” Lemonis said, “which we expect to help optimize and grow our presence across the country, organically and through future dealership acquisitions.”
