Camping World Reports Lower Revenue, Strong Sales

Camping World Holdings, Inc., sales and profits declined in the third quarter of 2022. The company said the results were driven primarily by shuffling products Camping World offers.

Camping World Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis said the company remains committed to growth.

Revenue was $1.9 billion in the third quarter of 2022, a 3.2% decrease from the third quarter of 2021. Profits totaled $102.9 million in the third quarter of 2022, a 45.6% decrease from the third quarter of 2021.

“In this current environment, our company is focused on growing our overall used RV business (and) strategic and opportunistic dealership acquisitions,” Lemonis said.

Third-quarter 2022 used vehicle revenues reached a record $526.0 million. The company sold a record 14,460 used RVs in the third quarter of 2022.

New vehicle revenue in the third quarter of 2022 declined 3.5% from the third quarter of 2021.
