Canada Dealership Makes Acquisition

Canada’s largest RV Dealership group, Leisure Days, continued its expansion with the addition of Strang’s Shore Camping, located in Murray Corner, New Brunswick.

The campground offers 90 large lots, scenic views of Prince Edward Island and the Confederation Bridge, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It also has overnight sites for visitors who are looking for a short-term stay.

Pat Butler, Leisure Days RV Group president, said the Maritimes have been a key region for his company. There are nine dealerships under Leisure Days in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

“Strang’s Shore Camping will complement our group,” Butler said, “as we look to provide RVers with both excellent products and places to enjoy the RV lifestyle.”

Jerry and Linda Strang, Strang’s Shore Camping owners, said they started the company in 1974 after camping trips by their family.

“Having spent enough time at campgrounds,” the Strangs said, “we came to realize the good and bad that was offered. So, when we had the opportunity to start our own, we jumped at the chance and Strang’s Shore Camping was born.”
