Canada’s largest RV dealership group, Leisure Days RV, acquired the Pirate Cove Marina Inc., the group’s first marine dealership.

Leisure Days RV now operates 32 RV stores, three Trailer Pro’s Canada, three RV campgrounds and one boat dealership.

“In 1994, Pirate Cove Marina was started by my family, and in 2019 I purchased the business myself,” company owner Wendy Ramsey said. “I have had the opportunity to watch and help the marina grow to where is today. I am pleased to share that Leisure Days RV Group has purchased Pirate Cove Marina and I know that they will continue to give our customers the same great experience that my family and I have witnessed over the past 29 years. I look forward to continuing to be a part of their team.”

Leisure Days RV Group CEO Pat Butler said he has been a boater his entire life and he was thrilled to add Pirate Cove Marina to the company.

“The operation has become a well-known boaters stop on the Rideau River near Kemptville with strong brands, excellent service, winterization, storage and 93 docks with a gas dock,” Butler said. “We look forward to continuing their strong tradition of excellent sales and service.”

Headquartered in Ottawa, the Leisure Days RV Group was started in 2003 when it opened RV Canada. The company operates in four Canadian provinces.
