The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is known as “Giving Tuesday,” a global day of charitable giving. The Giving Tuesday movement supports “unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world,” the Giving Tuesday nonprofit group said.

Care Camps, the national nonprofit organization that funds medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada, is soliciting donations during the day to fund the organization’s efforts.

“Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support nonprofits and make a positive impact on our communities,” the organization said in a Facebook post. “That’s why we think #GivingTuesday is one of the best days of the year.”

Care Camps donations help families experience the pediatric oncology camps free of charge. Donations can be made by clicking here or through the QR code below the webpage image.
