Forest River, Inc.’s Coachmen RV is relaunching the Freedom Express Liberty Edition.
Built on the Freedom Express platform, Coachmen said the Liberty Edition travel trailer combines elevated styling, upgraded features and exceptional livability.
Coachmen General Manager Mike Kaiser said the revival of the Freedom Express Liberty Edition is about more than just a nameplate.
“We saw an opportunity to reintroduce a product line that stood for comfort, freedom and pride in ownership,” he said, “but do it in a way that aligns with today’s expectations for design and performance.”
The Liberty Edition launched with two floorplans: a bunkhouse model (330BHJJ) and a couples’ coach (330RKS).
The 330BHJJ includes three slide outs. The travel trailer features an automotive-style front cap.
The rear bunk room includes two bunk rooms separated by a Jack-and-Jill half-bath between them. Each bunk room includes a jackknife sofa under a flip-up bunk. Tinted rectangular windows are next to each bunk.
The master suite includes a queen-sized bed surrounded by three windows and a full bath. Additional features include electric jacks, a tankless water heater and washer/dryer prep.
The product line will include four floorplans. The final two have not yet been announced.
While the Freedom Express Liberty Edition is sold exclusively to U.S.-based RV dealers, Coachmen introduced a Canadian-exclusive Maple Edition. Select Canadian RV Dealers will offer the Maple Edition beginning in late fall.
