New developments are in place for the electric travel trailer brand Coast, which debuted its Model 1 RV this year.
The brand’s parent company, Aero Build, appointed Heather Reed as director of manufacturing and announced Evan McCasland as a partner.
Aero Build founder Brian Fuente said, “This marks a pivotal moment for both Coast and Aero Build. As we position ourselves for growth across both brands, we are thrilled to welcome Heather and Evan to our team. Their expertise and dedication align perfectly with our vision.”
Reed brings over 19 years of experience in facilities and operations management to her new role. She previously served as senior manager of facilities and operations at industrial equipment supplier McMaster-Carr Supply Co.
Reed drove operational efficiency and fostered cross-functional teams, Coast said. She will spearhead efforts to enhance product excellence and innovation, focusing on Coast’s Model 1 and upcoming new offerings.
Evan McCasland joins Aero Build with over 20 years of experience in production engineering and process design. He previously served as Wisk Aero’s chief engineer of production systems. McCasland’s background includes over 17 years at Nissan, where he contributed to engineering and business development, driving strategic initiatives and optimizing performance and collaboration across sections.
“I am thrilled to be part of Aero Build’s journey,” McCasland said, “and eager to collaborate with Brian and the team to further advance sustainable mobile business and travel solutions.”
Aero Build said with Reed leading manufacturing efforts and McCasland lending his insight, “Fuente is confident that Aero Build and Coast are primed to accelerate innovation and continue delivering exceptional products.”
