Global Products LLC bought Wiper Technologies without any existing product lines or industries to market to. Global Technologies hopes to launch more product lines now that they have their first.
“There was unintentional sarcasm behind our timing,” said Wiper Technologies’ director of sales Gregg Eash, who started Global Products to buy the company. Global Products LLC bought the supplier in March 2020, days before a year-long national COVID-19 shutdown started.
Though the windshield wiper systems supplier serves automotive, marine and rail industries, 95 percent of their efforts are focused on the RV market. The company specifically sells to high-end, Type A RV manufacturers. Jayco, Tiffin, Winnebago and the Rev Group all only use Wiper Technologies’ systems. More than a year into owning the company, Eash said they are starting to look at other types of product lines.
“We are always looking, like any distributor is, for the next great product to sell,” Eash said. “Trying to find that is not as easy as it sounds sometimes.”
