Covercraft Industries, parent company of RV cover manufacturer ADCO, has expanded the capabilities of its cover-manufacturing and engineering facility in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to make personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical professionals.

Covercraft Industries President and COO Clay Callan said, “Covercraft’s expertise in working with non-woven specialty fabrics has allowed us to pivot our operations in the U.S.A. from crafting car covers, seat covers, and windshield sunscreens to helping provide hospitals and first responders with personal protective equipment incredibly fast.”

The company is making gowns and masks for health-care workers and first responders.

Orders began shipping yesterday, March 31, Callan said. The company has the capacity to potentially build hundreds of thousands of units, he said.

“As an industry leader in the product categories we manufacture,” he said, “we felt it was our duty to step in and help our country in this time of need.”

Entities in need of PPE production can contact Covercraft Industries at (405) 367-8930.
