The National Veterans Homeless Support (NVHS) received a $45,897 donation from Giant Recreation World on Tuesday.

Giant Recreation World presented the donation to the nonprofit at its store in Winter Garden, Florida.

More than 600 of Giant Recreation World’s VIP Camping Club members attended the annual customer rally at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort in Auburndale, Florida, where fundraising for the non-profit commenced. Donations were also collected through bi-monthly member campouts.

Giant Recreation World VIP Director Mica Gratton said, “We are immensely proud of our VIP Camping Club members for their unwavering commitment to supporting our veterans. This donation to the National Veterans Homeless Support is a testament to the compassion and generosity of our community. It is an honor to be able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served our country.”

Camp Margaritaville contributed $2,370 to the donation total. Caroline Milne and Tori Starr from Camp Margaritaville’s sales and marketing team joined the dealer in presenting the donation Tuesday.

NVHS President George Taylor Jr. said, “We are grateful for the continued support of organizations like Giant Recreation World and the VIP Camping Club. Their dedication to our cause has a profound impact on the lives of veterans.”
