A charitable giving challenge issued by Level 5 Marketing will give dealers the chance to help kids with cancer and win $10,000 cash.

Any dealer who donates $500 to Care Camps by Dec. 30, or raises the equivalent via a Facebook fundraiser, will be entered to win Level 5’s donated cash prize.

“The Level 5 family is happy to do something that will hopefully encourage many others to give to support this amazing cause,” President Budd Blackburn stated. “In a year that record sales have blessed many in the outdoors industry, we are thankful for the opportunity not only to give back but inspire others to do the same.”

Care Camps is a non-profit charity that gives children with cancer an opportunity to attend special oncology camps in the U.S. and Canada. The camps, supported by companies such as Forest River, Level 5 and Kampgrounds of America, allow kids to experience “hope and healing” by finding friendship in outdoor settings, at no cost to the child’s family.

“By donating to Care Camps, you are helping children fighting cancer in every community, in every state, to ensure that they have a chance to experience the healing power of the outdoors,” Care Camps Director of Development Jennifer Mercer stated. “Due to the loss of all three of Care Camp’s biggest fundraisers this year, we have never needed the support of our RV and marine industry more. A huge thank you to Level 5 Advertising for doing something to inspire those who have been blessed by a good year to do some charitable giving just in time for the holidays.”

The Level 5 team hopes to inspire every RV, powersports and marine dealer to donate or create a Facebook fundraiser with its issued challenge, the company stated.

Mercer noted in an email that the charity could meet its year-end budget with the donations, which will send kids to camp in 2021.

“We are so excited that Level 5 is doing this contest to encourage dealers everywhere to give,” Mercer stated. “The cause of helping kids with cancer find hope and healing during their struggles is bigger than any one of us.”

To register for the $10,000 prize, dealers can donate at least $500 here, or conduct a Facebook fundraiser to raise the equivalent amount. Once complete, donors are asked to email proof of their donation or fundraiser to [email protected] to be added to the drawing.

All donations and fundraisers must be received by Dec. 30 to qualify for the drawing, scheduled on New Year’s Eve.
