Dexter Axle Acquires Trailer Parts Supplier

DexKo Global Inc., a supplier of trailer running gear, chassis assemblies and related components, announced its wholly-owned subsidiary Dexter Axle Company acquired The Expediter, LLC located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The Expediter sources wholesale trailer parts, braking systems, towing solutions, suspensions and trailer electrical parts for dealers in addition to wholesale and OEM customers. The company has a particularly strong presence in utility, industrial, RV and boat trailer replacement parts.

Dexter is headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana and employs over 3,800 people in the U.S. and Canada. The company operates 18 manufacturing facilities and over 30 company-owned distribution locations.

Fred Bentley, DexKo Global CEO, said the Expediter’s employees will add knowledge and valued customers to DexKo and help the company better serve southeastern U.S. customers.

Adam Dexter, Dexter Axle president and CEO, said the acquisition provides Dexter with a strategic location in South Florida.

Sven Magnuson, The Expediter operations manager, said the acquired company is proud combine the family-owned business’s legacy with Dexter.
