Dicor Products, an Airxcel brand, will offer its Tufflex PVC and DiFlex TPO products in a new size.

The roofing products will be offered in .035-inch-thick sheets. Previously, the membranes were available only in .027-inch-thick sheets.

Airxcel said the thicker .035-inch membranes provide the same high tear and puncture strength as previously available products. The new membranes are less sensitive to solvents, Airxcel said, and can be sealed with Dicor’s Ultra Sealant high solids.

“Roof membranes help protect your RV from dirt, debris, UV rays, and of course, rain, snow and wind,” said Jeff Gaff, Dicor Products’ business unit manager. “Using a good quality roofing product like Tufflex or DiFlex will extend the life of your RV roof much longer. These membranes also help to better hide roof deck imperfections, deck seams, and rougher deck surfaces.”

Airxcel said the .035-inch membranes will reduce “print-through” from the RV’s roof, providing a smooth, flawless appearance. The expanded roofing membrane line will help OEMs meet customer demand, Airxcel said.
