After 16 years of making overlanding vehicles, EarthCruiser has closed. April 25 marked the overlanding vehicle manufacturer’s last day of operations.

On April 24, the company said economic challenges presented difficulties in continuing operations.

Earth Cruiser Chief Information Officer and founder Lance Gillies said, “Although this decision marks the end of an era, we are proud of our legacy and impact on the world of travel, automotive innovation and overlanding. We hope our vehicles, our customers and their stories will continue to inspire the adventurous spirit in all of us.”

The company created the Terranova truck camper. EarthCruiser’s EXP and FX are motorhomes built off an Isuzu NPR chassis.

“Our journey over the past years has been extraordinary,” Gillies said. “We are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated employees and industry partners for their support and trust in our brand.”

The company will liquidate the business in accordance with state law. Announcements regarding the liquidation process will be released in the future.
