Economist to Address Politics in RV Market

John Augustine of Huntington National Bank will examine U.S. politics and how they relate to the strength of the RV industry in a workshop in the dealer/GM track at the RVDA Convention/Expo.

The Convention/Expo will take place Nov. 6-10, 2023, at Paris Las Vegas.

Augustine’s session, titled “Getting Back to Normalization,” will take place from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Nov. 7.

In the workshop, Augustine will provide a current and future look at the political landscape as the U.S. enters what a potentially volatile national election cycle.

Augustine is chief investment officer for Huntington National Bank and has spent more than 30 years as an investment manager, investment strategist and economic strategist for various financial institutions.

During the workshop, attendees will learn:

  • Finance, inventory and planning concepts for each dealer
  • Current market trends
  • Policy trends affecting the economy and markets
  • Trends affecting consumer durable-goods spending
  • S. economic trends and areas to watch
