Expansion continues at Bish’s RV after the dealer chain added several new locations in 2025.
Bish’s RV has acquired Burton Campers in Calera, Alabama, and will consolidate a location it opened in the city last year into the existing Burton location. In December, Bish’s acquired two Adventure Camper Sales stores in Kentucky. The move follows the August acquisition of I-29 RV in South Dakota.
President Todd Nuttall said Bish’s expects to acquire another existing dealership in the next month. The dealer chain will also open a new rooftop in Rapid City, South Dakota, this spring, at a location that formerly housed Jack’s Campers. Bish’s RV did not acquire the dealership, just the location.
The deals bring the dealer chain to more than two dozen locations stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. Nuttall said he is finalizing lease details on an additional new location, but declined to say where.
“We are always open to the right opportunities,” Nuttall said. “When those opportunities present themselves, then we will look into it. We do not have pins on a map saying, ‘This is where we want to be, and we are going to push to get there.’ We are not in an aggressive acquisition mode.”
Nuttall said Bish’s RV leadership is more concerned with running a good business than a big business. He said the company reviewed nearly 100 dealerships in the past year for possible acquisition.
“We passed on a lot, but not because they were not good opportunities. “They just did not align with our strategy.”
Nuttall said Bish’s RV saw steady year-over-year sales growth in the final three months of 2025.
“We do not see that necessarily slowing down,” he said. “We do not think there are going to be any earth-shattering records in 2026, but we also do not see the market falling backwards.”
Nuttall said he does not spend too much time worrying about the RV market. Instead, he said he is focused on grabbing as much market share as possible. Expansion is making that process easier.
