In the distributor show season’s wave of upgraded products, Camco brought a slew of consumer solutions to the table.
Within its refreshed products, the supplier focused on enhancing previous products with intuitive features. Camco’s six new aftermarket products solve common RVer issues. Each solution refines product efficiency and counters storage barriers.
Camco Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Development Andrew Angel said, “The biggest goal is to let the consumers be better equipped to RV.”
FasTen Ramp Set of Two
The FasTen Ramp is a new FasTen leveling system product . The ramps pair with the FasTen leveling blocks to create a tire cradle and provide more leveling height. Consumers stack the ramp on top of the leveling blocks and drive onto it to stabilize the RV.
Rather than using two 10-packs of leveling blocks, a consumer can use one 10-pack with the ramp to provide extra height.
Angel said, “It is much easier to deploy those 12 devices rather than 20.”
The ramp also functions as a wheel chock.
RV Repair and Maintenance Sealants and Tape
Camco’s new sealant is its first vertical sealing application. The product can seal door thresholds or windows. The sealant complements the company’s RV roof self-leveling horizontal sealant. The formula pairs with thermoplastic polyolefin and EPDM membranes.
Rhino Sewer Kit with Hose Support and Storage
Angel said the supplier noticed tote bins were convenient ways to store camping accessories. The company combined the Rhino Sewer Kit and Hose Support into a tote bin. The tote base and lid also act as a “cascading” sewer support. Camco replaced its two 10-foot hoses with a 20-foot hose for convenience. The supplier incorporated 15-foot sewer hose supports.
When setting up the sewer hose, consumers open the tote, connect the hose and walk the hose down to the dump receptacle. The built-in sewer hose supports simplify the process.
Rhino 5-inch Clear Sewer Hose Extender with Grip Handle and Light
Camco upgraded its sewer hose extender by adding a grip handle and a light. The extender’s main purpose is to see when the tank drains clean. Angel said extenders were often “cumbersome” to open, with tight connections requiring specific wrenches. The extender handle eases its use.
The added light will assist consumers in seeing when the tank is clean.
Rhino Tote Tank Deluxe Kit
The Deluxe kit expands on Camco’s Rhino Tote Tank, which enables RVers to transport waste from their vehicle to the dump station. The upgraded kit serves as an all-in-one RV sanitation case and includes a sewer hose, a four-in-one adapter and a 90-degree elbow.
The product is adaptable and connects to existing and new holding tanks.
The supplier’s new aftermarket products build on previous solutions to provide efficient tools for everyday RV life. Each product is available now.
