EXCLUSIVE: Go Power! Increases Rigid Solar Panel Wattage

Go Power! is upgrading its original rigid, roof-mounted solar panel to 200 watts or 9.62 amps of charging power capability.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our products,” said Mark Spilsbury, RV Division Manager, Go Power. “This year we are pleased to announce that our flagship rigid panel will be increasing from a 190- to 200-watt on 2023 OEM builds. This panel upgrade, along with other product improvements will help us continue to lead in OEM space for solar.”

The upgraded panels will ship directly from the company’s Dave Carter & Associates warehouse in July, in time to coincide with OEM model changes. It will be installed on RVs built by Jayco RV, Thor, Forest River RV and Lance Camper.

The product will be available for the aftermarket soon, possibly by the end of the year, Marketing Manager Eva Mitic said.

A 200-watt panel will generate enough power to run an RV’s lights, fans, slides, 12-volt refrigerators and pumps off the lot, Mitic said.
