Two necessities were wrapped into a single floorplan. In many toy haulers, living space is sacrificed to increase power sports storage in the trailer’s rear.

Jayco took consumers’ living space and storage needs and gave them both in the 2024 Seismic 399 toy hauler floorplan.

Jayco Senior Director of Product Development for the Luxury Division Mike Aplin said that the team wanted to create a unique floorplan.

“In this, you kind of have your cake and eat it, too,” Aplin said. “It checks all the boxes.”

The triple-axle toy hauler includes a 13.5-foot garage and a large living area. The 2024 Seismic floorplan was built off Jayco’s Pinnacle 38FBRK fifth wheel floorplan.

The Seismic floorplan was inspired by the Pinnacle’s kitchen and living room. The kitchen features a wrap-around layout and is across from a four-seat dinette. The kitchen has a 17-cubic-foot, 12-volt refrigerator and a 3-burner glass cover cooktop atop the oven. A faucet with a pull-out sprayer hovers over a stainless-steel kitchen sink.

A wraparound sectional sofa includes a trifold SuperSofa joined with two recliners.

The interior has residential vinyl flooring and solid hardwood cabinet doors.

Aplin said the manufacturer included as many quality, standard aspects into the floorplan as possible.

He said, “Everything is standard at this price point.”A picture of the back of Seismic 2024 395 model.

A Queen bed slide-out with a full front wardrobe sits at the toy hauler’s front. A washer and dryer prep area is at the wardrobe’s side. A full bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a porcelain foot flush toilet.

A rear ramp patio with steps is covered by an electric awning. A three-season patio door leads into the garage. The garage features a HappiJac electric lift Queen bed  convertible sofa. Above the bed is an overhead loft and storage area.

An 11-foot, electric awning is positioned on the rear door side while a 21-foot awning extends above the entry door.

The toy hauler weighs 14,560 pounds and has a GVWR of 19,995 pounds. The RV is 46 feet long and 8.5 feet wide. The RV has a 106-gallon freshwater tank, an 87-gallon gray water tank and an 87-gallon black water tank.

The trailer rides on 17.5-inch, 16-ply H-rated Uniroyal tires. The toy hauler includes Dexter axles with an anti-lock braking system, Nev-R-Adjust brakes and E-Z Lude hubs. The RV includes a six-point hydraulic auto-leveling system and sway mitigation.

The Seismic has a Helix Cooling System with two exterior-mounted, 15,000 BTU ducted A/Cs with an optional third 15,000 BTU AC in the garage.

The interior has a 12-volt charging station and LED lighting throughout the RV. The model includes a 16-gallon gas and electric DSI water heater.

The Seismic will be in full production in mid-April. Dealers can order the model now.

“We do it one way,” Aplin said,” the Jayco way.”
