Kuma Outdoor Gear expanded RV campsite styles with new additions to its product line. The supplier introduced new RV mat options.
Kuma’s RV mats feature new sizes, designs and colors.
The products are available in three sizes: 18-foot by 9-foot, 12-foot by 9-foot and the most recent introduction, 9-foot by 9-foot.
Kuma Outdoor Gear Marketing and Social Media Manager Deanne Ferguson said the supplier added a smaller mat size to accommodate consumers.
She said, “If you are living in a small space, you need that outdoor space to be as comfortable as possible.”
The eye-catching mats feature bright colors such as yellows, pinks and blues. Consumers can select various patterns including chevron, Monterrey, Santa Fe, mountains and the Kuma bear.
Ferguson said, “There is definitely a market for something that is not your typical black and gray.”
According to Ferguson, sage-colored mats have been popular. The mats match Kuma’s sage Lazy Bear Chair and Bear Buddy/Double Chair.
Ferguson said, “We have noticed that people like matching their whole campsite and getting that aesthetic.”
Kuma continues to supply black-and-white options.
Each mat is made with polypropylene, a breathable thermoplastic material that prevents mats from killing grass underneath. The mats come with a nylon carry bag and four stakes. The mats are reversible and mold/mildew resistant.
Ferguson said, “You create a more comfortable living space and hopefully that extends your time outside.”
Dealers are now stocking Kuma mats.
