Aluminum travel trailer manufacturer ATC Trailers launched an online RV configurator tool for consumers and dealers.

ATC Marketing Operations Manager Kaylie Null Miller said the new tool streamlines RV research and consumers’ decision-making process. She said the configurator provides numerous dealer benefits as well.

“It is a tool for consumers, but all sales are still handled by authorized ATC dealers,” Null Miller said. “Customers who submit their build have already decided what models, options and budget they are interested in, resulting in better-informed, higher-intent leads.”

The company said the online RV builder tool empowers consumers to customize a trailer while receiving real-time, dynamic pricing.

ATC Trailers Director of Marketing Dale Davis said the new tool provides an intuitive, step-by-step experience that guides consumers to select the model they want to build. Consumers can add packages, options and accessories across select ATC models.

“Our customers value quality, customization and clarity,” Davis said. “Our new build tool puts the power directly in their hands. They can build a trailer that fits their needs perfectly and see how their choices impact pricing in real time.”

The price shown to consumers is the MSRP. From there, consumers are referred to a local dealership for their final price and to buy the customized RV.

ATC said employees conducted a test run with the new tool. Internal teams and a select group of dealers participated in testing.

“Feedback was overwhelmingly positive,” Null Miller said, “with many finding the tool intuitive, informative and fast.”

ATC said the tool’s 24/7 availability captures interest, educates and builds consumer excitement, even when the dealer’s store is closed.

“With full option pricing upfront, customers arrive to the dealership with realistic expectations, reducing back-and-forth,” Null Miller said. “Once a build is complete, customers can easily submit their configuration to an authorized ATC dealer and take the next step toward ownership.”

The tool is live at ATCtrailers.com/Build.

“We believe that treating people well is good business, and we genuinely want to help our customers at all stages of the buying journey,” Null Miller said. “By giving customers price transparency, clarity around product/feature compatibility and a tangible way to build their own unit, we hope to make the buying process simple and fun for our customers.”
