EXCLUSIVE: Newmar Honors Dealer Body

Newmar wrapped up the second day of its annual dealer meeting by presenting awards to its top dealers. The event took place Thursday evening at the picturesque Cheyenne Lodge in Colorado Springs, Colorao.

National Indoor RV Centers in Tennessee took home three awards. The dealership was among Newmar’s top 10 dealers by sales in 2023, earned a Platinum award for service excellence and won the Not Just a Number Award for sending in the most photos of customers receiving their motorhomes.

Seven dealerships earned the top service award, the Diamond Service award. Those dealerships were Demartini RV Sales in California, Independence RV/General RV in Florida, Midway Motor Homes in Michigan, Steinbring Motorcoach in Minnesota, Transwest Truck and Trailer in Colorado, Wade’s RV Supercenter in Oklahoma and Bucars RV Centre in Alberta, Canada.

Demartini, General RV, Midway Motor Homes and Transwest also placed in the top 10 in sales. Other top 10 dealers were Blue Compass RV, Campers Inn, Holiday World RV, Lazydays RV and North Trail RV Center.

Platinum Service awards went to Beaver Coach Sales in Oregon, Campers Inn, Freedom RV in Arizona, IWS Sales in Idaho, North Trail RV Center and Transwest’s Missouri store.

Gold Service award winners were Ancira RV in Texas, Berryland Camper Sales in Louisiana, Carolina Adventure RV in South Carolina, Midtown RV in Canada, Meyers RV in New Mexico, Transwest in Colorado and Traveland RV Supercenter in Canada.

The day began with presentations from Vice President of Operations Kevin Bogan. Bogan updated dealers on Newmar’s efforts to improve employee safety and RV quality. He discussed facility changes, including 10 building additions to Newmar’s Nappanee, Indiana, campus in the past year.

Vice President of Marketing Ryan Buurstra, in his second month on the job, introduced himself and his family to dealers. He said his vision for the marketing team was to build a bridge between dealers and consumers.
