EXCLUSIVE: ProPack Packaging Shakes Up Holding Tank Treatment

Lavender scents waft through an RV, filling the living space with a subtle, fresh smell.

After two decades of providing an RV holding tank treatment in a single herbal scent, ProPack Packaging introduced new Kronen scents in January.

The treatment packages now are available in Lavender and Palo Santo aromas. The treatment uses naturally occurring microorganisms to break down and liquefy organic materials in holding tanks.

ProPack Graphics and Advertising Manager Rebecca Hanneken said the new scents are “a good way to keep things fresh in your RV.”

The new scents target younger buyers. Although all consumers can enjoy the new fragrances, Hanneken said, the supplier wanted to captivate younger owners who may not have much RVing upkeep knowledge.

Since the scents’ introduction, ProPack has received positive feedback at distributor shows. ProPack is implementing the new scents into its Kronen plan-o-grams so dealers can assess how the products perform.

Hanneken said, “It is kind of a fun way to shake things up a bit.”

The supplier is focused on the latest updates now but Hanneken said more Kronen scents could arrive in the future.
