After appearing on the TV show “Shark Tank” in September 2022, Turbo Trusser sales increased for the next three months. The product had already reached $90,000 in sales by the time Turbo Trusser President Brian Halasinski and Vice President Kirk Hyust stepped into “The Tank.”

The tool combats difficulties presented in preparing a chicken or for grilling through trussing. Trussing is the process of tying a chicken, so the wings and legs stay close to the body and keep the meat moist. The technique is also used when preparing a turkey. Halasinski said he experienced difficulty tying up seasoned chicken himself. The pair crafted the Turbo Trusser right in Ohio.

“You just use the Turbo Trusser,” Halasinski said, “and it does the work for you.”

The chicken’s legs are placed in the Turbo Trusser cradle while two hooks attach to the wings. The 304 or “food-grade” stainless steel keeps the chicken secure while grilling.

Halasinski said, “There is really nothing else on the market like it.”

Wholesale orders require a 12-product count minimum. Halasinski said orders ship the next day. Dealers interested in stocking the Turbo Trusser can reach Halasinski at [email protected] or 330-327-3245. To learn more, click here.
