Feedback Leads California RV Show to Change Dates

After meeting with the three largest Southern California dealers and other potential exhibitors, organizers of the 68th annual Pomona RV Show have changed the event dates.

The show now is scheduled for Oct. 4-8. Previously the event was scheduled for late October.

The new dates line up with the Pomona RV Show’s historical time frame.

“Previous show studies indicate that 42% of show attendees were regular repeat guests,” said Tom Gaither, show spokesperson. “We learned that many families have been coming for generations.”

The last Pomona show, held in October 2019, registered the largest attendance in the event’s history with just over 45,000 guests.

Organizers said the Los Angeles market, historically the largest RV market by Basic Trading Area, has not hosted a multi-dealer show for four years.

“Consumer interest is already strong,” Gaither said, “even though the show is still five months away.”

Space sales have begun. Space is open to RV manufacturers and dealers. Show seniority for future years will be based on this year’s lineup of completed space orders.

The deadline for discounted space is May 31. For more, call 574-800-1820 or email [email protected].
