La Mesa RV and Winnebago completed the first Winnebago Roam delivery. The Roam is the first accessibility enhanced Type B motorhome from Winnebago.

The delivery recently took place on La Mesa’s campus in Phoenix with several Winnebago personnel congratulating the new Roam owner.

The Winnebago Roam is built on the Ram ProMaster chassis with a 20-foot length. Many accessibility features have been integrated including a 750-pound capacity Braun wheelchair lift, integrated wheelchair tie downs, powered sofa bed, lowered coach monitor panel, a wet bath with transfer assist handles and a pull-down overhead cabinet for access from a seated position.

The Roam was modified by the Winnebago factory before being shipped to La Mesa.

La Mesa RV is the 2023 Winnebago Roam’s exclusive retail dealer.

Both La Mesa and Winnebago recognize a growing need for factory-built accessible camper vans and motorhomes, La Mesa RV said. In addition to the Roam, Winnebago offers an accessibility-enhanced Type A diesel pusher, the Inspire.

La Mesa soon will have Winnebago Roam inventory available in multiple stores in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida. Access additional information on available units.
